Meet The Band
Cork Snow
Lead Vocalist & Acoustic Guitar
Nestled in the foothills east of Vernal, Cork grew up on a small family farm along Brush Creek. At 18, he traded farm chores for a hard hat and steel-toed boots, heading into the Uintah Basin oilfield—work he still does today. Singing has been Cork’s passion for as long as he can remember. As a kid, he performed anywhere he could: school choirs, show choir, and countless hours belting out tunes to his most loyal audience—his steering wheel.
It wasn’t until people started filming his karaoke performances in local bars that Cork realized he might be better than his humble self-assessment allowed. At 30, he picked up a guitar, using music as therapy to navigate some of the hardest years of his life. A few years later, he combined his playing and singing and began performing in small venues and bars around Vernal. Not long after, Cork helped form The Hammer Down Band, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey.
Kerry Hatch
Drummer/Percussionist
Kerry Hatch is the driving force behind the drums and percussion for The Hammer Down Band, delivering hard-hitting rhythms that blur the lines between metal intensity and country groove. Behind the kit since 1988, Kerry has performed with multiple bands, recorded professional albums, and played hundreds of live shows, forging a reputation for power, precision, and unforgettable stage presence.
Bringing a metal drummer’s energy to the country world, Kerry’s style is unmistakable-in-your-face beats, unapologetic power, and a pulse that carries every song forward. When you hire Kerry Hatch, you don’t just get a drummer-you get a force of nature.
Shane Cook
Rhythm Guitar/Back Up Vocals
Shane Cook has spent most of his life wrapped up in the joy of making music. He began his journey on violin in the 3rd grade with his local youth orchestra, then found his voice on saxophone by 7th grade—performing all the way through high school in concert band, marching band, and jazz ensemble. After graduation, Shane picked up the guitar and taught himself to play, gradually building the confidence to step onto the stage. Since then, he’s performed with a number of bands spanning a wide mix of genres, each one shaping his sound and deepening his love for collaboration.
Today, Shane holds down rhythm guitar and backup vocals for The Hammer Down Band—a group he considers more family than fellow musicians. Driven by a belief in the connective power of music, he finds his greatest fulfillment in sharing moments of sound, energy, and emotion with audiences and bandmates alike.
Kylen Aycock
Bass
Kylen Aycock is a versatile bass player and guitarist whose passion for music began at a young age, inspired by a father who filled the house with instruments, records, and encouragement. Starting out by learning simple bass lines and guitar riffs, that early spark grew into a lifelong dedication to musicianship. With experience spanning a wide range of genres—including rock, funk, jazz, blues, indie, and more— Kylen has developed a reputation for adaptability, groove, and musicality. Over the years, Kylen has performed in numerous bands, both professionally and for the pure joy of collaboration, contributing to studio projects, live shows, and creative songwriting sessions.
Whether laying down solid low-end foundations or switching to guitar to shape melodies and textures, Kylen brings passion, reliability, and an open-minded approach to every project. Always evolving and exploring new styles, he continues to build on the musical legacy that first inspired him.
Levi Rose
Lead Guitar
Levi Rose is a singer-songwriter who builds his sound on real stories, raw emotion, and the kind of honesty that hits you in the chest. Driven by a genuine love for music and the people who connect with it, Levi Rose blends soulful vocals with authentic songwriting, creating tracks that feel lived-in, heartfelt, and unapologetically true.
Levi picked up the guitar at the age of six strumming away on the “classic” (he’s young) country he loved to listen to with his momma. Some years later he began to hone his playing skills to jam along with the blues and rock songs he had grown to love, and more importantly, to add depth and diversity in his own song writing. His basic strumming evolved into powerful and bluesy leads lending to his versatility as a guitarist.
What started with small shows and late-night writing sessions quickly turned into a growing musical identity — one marked by grit, vulnerability, and a style that refuses to be boxed in. Levi Rose’s music pulls from real experiences: the wins, the losses, the lessons, and the moments you don’t forget. Whether it’s a stripped-down acoustic ballad or a full-band, high-energy anthem, he brings the same thing every time: passion.
